The gated community Nakheel Jumeirah Island wanted to have an access control system at all their gates that could cater for tenants entering the premises at a speed of 20 miles per hour. In this way, they could enjoy a truly hands-free environment.

KTC successfully installed Nedap's UHF Target with verified credentialing process using the existing Designa barriers - security without sacrificing convenience. Every resident uses access Card that contains a unique identification number.

• The uPASS Target allows consistent reading of up to 10 meters, so residents do not have to stop to present their badge anymore. Automatic vehicle identification ensures a smooth flow of authorized people only and increases the safety of residents.
• The uPASS Target, based on UHF (Ultra High Frequency) technology, was the right solution for straightforward access to car parks, gated communities, condominiums and campuses.
